About Kyle
Kyle got his start in the digital creative realm as a double denim wearing 14 year old kid, photoshopping his friends faces onto bikini models and making Led Zeppelin fan sites in dreamweaver (if you could, wouldn’t you?). That kid thought what he was doing in the back of Mr. Gomez’s multimedia class was awesome, and he’s been doing it ever since.
That’s how it began, as a teenager in Canada, building things for the fun of it. As he got older, he studied psychology, then marketing, so he could make some money out of it. He put in the reps, making his own clothing business, working freelance, in house, in agency, and now quite often in his home office.
And the kid travelled, for nearly a decade. He built his skills in New Zealand, Australia, France and Ireland. By the time he settled down in Austria in 2019, he’d grown up, and gotten damn pretty good at turning ideas into things people actually use.
But the travel didn’t teach him to be curious, he travelled because he was curious. And he won’t try to sell you some LinkedIn bullshit about how surfing taught him business lessons. He chased snow, surf, and dirt for nearly a decade because his hobbies are fucking fun. What he did learn, is that there’s no point in building good work for a living, if you're not actually living.
Kyle’s been designing, writing, and building for almost two decades, and he keeps pushing to get better, because good work funds good adventures. And because he has standards - for his work, clients, and himself. He comes up with ideas and turns them into strategies, websites, apps, and marketing campaigns for consultants, startups, and organisations who give a shit about what they do.
