Clontarf Sunrises
If the sun doesn't rise until 8, at least you can make lemonade.

Wintertime in Ireland can be especially dreary. The mornings are usually overcast and foggy, and thanks to the wet climate the days are bone-chillingly cold.
In the winter of 18/19, I lived in Clontarf, a suburb in the North-East of Dublin. I was about a 5-minute walk away from the promenade running along the of Dublin Bay. To make the most of the shorter winter days I tried to wake up early, brew a coffee, and see if I could catch a sunrise.
Most of the time it was foggy and wet, but some of the days made it worth it.
